Benchmark Foam EPS Flute Fill Insulation Ideal for Steel Structures
Flute Fill Serves as a Cost Effective and Energy Efficient Void Fill
When steel structures need a facelift or better insulation to increase energy efficiency, Benchmark Foam has the solution. Flute Fill is custom cut insulation that accommodates the existing corrugated sheet metal pattern of any steel building. It can be used in a variety of applications, including roof insulation systems and exterior wall insulation.
When Flute Fill is used in a roof insulation system, the expanded polystyrene (EPS) is custom cut into strips based on the specific needs of that structure. Flute Fill can be produced to accommodate a tapered cut, square edge any many more. Acting as a void fill, Flute Fill is an energy efficient solution that provides a level substrate for any roofing insulation specifications.
Flute Fill can also be used to enhance or change the existing exterior walls of a steel building using an Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS) application. Rather than being into strips, the Flute Fill is custom cut into one side of an EPS sheet to allow the void fill fits appropriately while still providing a larger, smooth sheet to apply an EIFS finish. This application requires a thicker EPS sheet, but saves labor time and money while providing a higher R-Value for the end user.
