When Coca-Cola Bottling United in Savannah, Georgia wanted a standout piece to visually help celebrate 100 years of bottling, they gave the Signs By Benchmark team a call. Known for their skill in creating realistic replicas using an expanded polystyrene (EPS) medium, the team didn’t hesitate to tackle an 8.5’ Coca-Cola bottle.

First, the bottle was shaped, then hand-sculpted to a fine finish that would provide the smooth surface needed for application of a vinyl wrap. Finishing touches such as a realistically carved cap completed the striking replica that Donnie Burns of Coca-Cola Bottling United proclaimed “a hit.”

Coca-Cola Bottling United displayed the huge, lightweight bottle on a float exhibited in a recent St. Patrick’s Day parade earlier. Nestled in a cellular plastic replica glacier previously created by the Signs By Benchmark team, the bottle rode in majestic glory as a tribute to this year’s centennial celebration for Coca-Cola Bottling United.
